This support group is for the female cancer patient who is in any stage of treatment. This includes women with impending surgery, and those undergoing radiation and/or chemotherapy. This small intimate group provides a warm and safe place to focus on issues such as medical treatment, fear and anxiety and familiar traits.
Post-Treatment Group
This group is designed to meet the needs of cancer patients who have completed their treatment. Topics that are addressed concern how the cancer diagnosis has affected all area of one’s life. Some areas for discussion are fear of reoccurrence, familial relationships, intimacy and sexuality, body image, careers, finances, and medical issues. Overall, this group focuses on how to better adjust to life after cancer, and keeping HOPE as their inspiration!
Caregiver Support Group - Click Here to Register
This supportive group environment is for anyone affected by a loved one’s cancer diagnosis. This group is both educational and encouraging in nature. It provides a venue for caregivers to express frustration and concerns, while seeking support from others in a similar situation.
Peer Support
Mentors are volunteers who have experienced cancer as a patient and who believe that everyone should have support when battling cancer. This program connects women who are newly diagnosed or who are survivors to peer mentors who are survivors of a similar cancer, similar age, and in a similar stage of life.
